Our client is a small, well-established property business based in Chalfont St Peter, offering a personalised and professional service. They operate a lean, paper-free office and pride themselves on attention to detail, efficiency, and strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Lettings Manager / Administrator to take ownership of the day-to-day lettings administration and property management support within our business, looking after around 100 properties. This is a varied role suited to someone who is confident working independently in a small office environment and is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities with previous property experience.
Duties include:
- Managing compliance across our property portfolio, including:
- Deposit Protection Scheme
- Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
- Gas Safety Certificates
- Electrical Safety (EICRs)
- Council licensing requirements
- Handling tenancy renewals and rolling contracts
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Conducting property inspections across London, Bucks & Herts
- Ensuring full compliance with the latest lettings legislation, including the Renters Reform changes
- Maintaining accurate digital records in a fully paperless office
Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in residential or commercial lettings and property management (essential)
- Knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong IT skills and comfortable using digital systems
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
