Our client is a well-established and innovative print and communications business seeking an Account Manager to join their Client Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional with excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Acting as the key link between clients and production teams, you will manage projects from initial quotation through to delivery, ensuring work is completed accurately, on time and to the highest quality standards. Due to the operational and order-processing nature of this role, we are happy to consider applications from candidates with transferable skills. The role offers significant variety, working with clients across a range of specialist sectors while collaborating closely with production, studio, operations, accounts and supplier partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client accounts
  • Prepare accurate estimates and quotations
  • Coordinate projects from brief through to production and delivery
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Create and maintain clear production instructions and job documentation
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively manage work in progress
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for outsourced services
  • Ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and quality standards
  • Manage proof approvals and confirm delivery schedules with clients
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve customer and production issues
  • Prepare completed jobs for accurate invoicing and billing
  • Record customer meetings, visits and key discussions
  • Identify opportunities to upsell services and grow existing business.

  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to make sound business decisions
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative approach and strong team ethic
