We are seeking a newly qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to join a successful, well-established business based near Marlow. This is a varied role offering responsibility across management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance and business partnering. As part of a dedicated finance team, you will help ensure financial information is accurate and reliable, provide insights to support business decisions, and contribute to improving the efficiency of finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting analysis Financial reporting and KPI analysis Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals Cash flow forecasting and monitoring Preparation and submission of VAT returns Maintaining accurate financial records and systems Supporting year-end audit activities and statutory compliance requirements Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls Supporting wider finance operations as required Skills/Experience ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified 1-2 years previous experience within a commercial finance environment Management accounting experience Good understanding of financial controls and reporting requirements Experience with reconciliations, accruals and month-end processes Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems Analytical, detail-oriented and highly organised Able to manage priorities effectively and work independently Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Please note that we will only contact those candidates that we assess as suitable for the positions we have currently available based on their experience, training, and skills.
