We are looking for a Warehouse & Customer Service Assistant to join our client’s team in Maidenhead.
This is a varied and hands‑on dual role that combines warehouse operations, logistics coordination, customer service, and sales support.
Working closely with the Customer Service Team, Sales Managers and Service Team, you will ensure customer orders are processed efficiently, stock is managed effectively, and customer enquiries are handled professionally.
This role is fully office based Monday to Friday and comes with a competitive salary and benefits plus company bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse & Logistics
- Pick, pack, and process customer orders.
- Create and manage shipments through delivery partner portals.
- Receive, unload, and accurately book in stock from the factory.
- Maintain stock accuracy and availability within the warehouse.
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and rotated to support effective stock control.
- Prepare and submit documentation to customs partners.
- Manage customer returns and coordinate inspections with the Service Team.
- Customer Service & Sales Support
- Process customer orders accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Respond promptly to quotation requests and customer enquiries.
- Provide product information and recommend suitable solutions based on customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Handle customer queries and issues professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Customer service experience, including handling enquiries and resolving customer issues.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven problem‑solving ability and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines.
- Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues across different departments.
- Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
