Our client, based in Rickmansworth, is recruiting for an organised and detail-oriented individual to join its close-knit team as Finance and Administration Manager.

You will be responsible for a range of financial and administrative tasks including assisting with payroll, credit control and overseeing the smooth running of the office.

The ideal candidate will have similar experience in a finance or operations role and will be a confident administrator.

Previous use of Sage and Quickbooks is essential.

Salary £33k-£38k depending on experience
Hybrid working (four days in the office in Rickmansworth and one day working from home)
Hours 9am - 5pm
Parking on site
Key responsibilities:
Answer customer queries related to finance
Handling invoicing, credit control, book-keeping tasks, and assisting with payroll and payments
Communicating key financial updates and policies
Office organisation - managing a team of four with the ability and oversee the finance & administrative functions
Credit control, including monitoring and chasing late payments, managing refunds etc
Resolve any payment disputes
Running month end invoicing processes
Payment of invoices, expenses, and purchase order management
Bookkeeping, ensuring accurate income allocation
Payroll assistance
Financial reporting assistance including compiling monthly financial reports
Maintain and update the customer FAQs
Key skills:
Experience in transitioning or managing financial software tools and platforms, specifically with SAGE and Quickbooks.

Familiarity with Vantage Online is an advantage.

Previous bookkeeping / finance experience
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Well organised and good attention to detail
Able to work well independently and in small team
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
