Our client is a successful and growing business that supplies clothing and uniforms to a wide range of well-known organisations across the UK and Europe.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and customer-focused Account Manager to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with account management, customer service or client relationship experience who enjoys building strong partnerships, managing multiple projects and delivering exceptional service.

Full training will be provided, along with genuine opportunities for career progression within a well-established business.

The role is fully office based and comes with a salary of between £30k and £40k depending on skills, experience and if you have relevant industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships across a portfolio of client accounts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and projects
  • Process customer orders and provide regular status updates
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects and orders are delivered efficiently
  • Manage bespoke customer requests from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
  • Monitor stock levels and anticipate future customer requirements
  • Produce reports and management information in line with agreed service levels
  • Develop strong product knowledge to support customer requirements
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through cross-selling and up-selling
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting and planning for customer accounts
  • Ensure a consistently high level of customer service and account support

Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience in Account Management, Customer Service, Internal Sales or a client-facing administrative role
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence working with systems, databases and CRM platforms
  • Good numeracy skills and commercial awareness
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within workwear, uniforms, PPE or a B2B supply environment
  • Previous experience using CRM systems
  • Experience managing customer projects or long-term client relationships
