Are you an organised and proactive project professional with a passion for delivering high-quality events and educational programmes?

Our client, a leading medical education and media publishing organisation, is looking to recruit a Medical Events Project Coordinator to join their collaborative Projects Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of virtual and face-to-face educational programmes, partnering with leading physicians, global healthcare organisations and internal specialist teams to deliver engaging, impactful content.

As a Medical Events Project Coordinator, you will support the delivery of client-funded educational programmes from initial planning through to publication. You'll coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The role is hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 from home) and comes with excellent benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating virtual and live educational events, including webinars, interviews, round tables, peer-to-peer discussions and symposia.
  • Managing project timelines, schedules and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaising with leading physicians, key opinion leaders and industry stakeholders.
  • Working closely with internal teams including Account Management, Marketing, Medical Writing, Education and Digital Media.
  • Supporting client communications and providing regular project updates.
  • Coordinating filming sessions, content creation activities and event logistics.
  • Ensuring projects meet agreed objectives, budgets and deadlines.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and adhering to established processes.

Skills/Experience

  • A minimum of two years' experience working as an Events Coordinator / Associate Project Manager/events professional, ideally with a medical communications, events, publishing or agency background.
  • First-class non-technical project management skills with a proven track record of delivering a number of projects of varying complexity across the health education sector.
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent. A science-based subject is desirable (although not essential).
  • Adept at developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and work on several complex client projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without detailed supervision.

Please note that we will only contact those candidates that we assess as suitable for the positions we have currently available based on their experience, training, and skills. If we do not have anything suitable, we will not keep your CV for more than 30 days.
