The head of private client tax is keen to recruit an experienced portfolio manager to handle all aspects of your clients\’ tax affairs.The client base includes HNWI, entrepreneurs, non res/non-dom individuals and trusts. This is a compliance centred role where efficiency and attention to detail is key. You will have ownership of your work load, reporting directly to partners and having contact with your clients, HMRC and third party intermedaries.
Responsibilities
The preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns and supporting documents.
The completion of CGT returns.
The calculation of overall tax liability.
Checking and responding to correspondence from HMRC.
Liaising with clients to keep them fully updated.
Assisting with ad hoc planning work as required.
Managing WIP and billing.
