Location & Working Conditions

One of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is set in ten acres of stunning grounds. With 4 AA red stars, 3 AA rosettes, and a member of Relais & Châteaux, Buckland Manor offers employees the opportunity to work within a traditional, yet friendly English country house hotel.

Service charge: We pay our team service charge each month. All goes into one pot, and 100% is shared among the team. Service charge can be around £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over base pay, for a full-time employee. The hotel may offer on-site staff accommodation to help new members settle into life at the hotel. Free parking is available on-site.

About the Role

Come and join our team as a Chef De Partie and let your passion and personality shine. This is a full-time role of 48 hours per week, 5 days over 7 on a rota basis to include evenings and weekends. Our culture encourages everyone to show thoughtfulness towards each other and our guests. As a Chef De Partie, you will be part of a passionate team of chefs, playing a crucial role in serving delicious dishes for our guests. This role suits someone who has worked in a similar environment previously.

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll be working with fresh food, turning it into delicious dishes for our guests.
  • Our CDP’s run their own section of the kitchen.
  • You’ll put your knife skills to the test while learning new skills from senior chefs.
  • You must keep up to date with the latest allergen training.
  • Everyone in the kitchen is responsible for keeping it clean.
  • Labeling your food is important to avoid out-of-date food.
  • As an experienced chef, we encourage you to share knowledge with new Commis.
