Hartwell Lodge in Fareham is looking for a kind and compassionate part-time Wellbeing & Activities Coordinator to join the team.
This post is for one day per week (Thursdays) and 1 in 4 weekends. 9-5pm
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
As an activities coordinator, you will organise and participate in the development of activities for residents who reside at the home in which they can enjoy and which will enhance their quality of life. Your daily routine will be to offer a range of activities taking account the abilities and preferences of each resident at the home. In this role you will be in charge of organising outside entertainment, parties and outings throughout the year. You will also need to arrange fundraising events to encourage involvement with the local community.
ABOUT YOU:
- No formal qualifications required although previous care experience is beneficial
- A good level of English
- A bubbly & friendly personality
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to use a camera and social media
