Purpose: Provide learning and development solutions across the University, ensuring delivery against BNU’s Talent Strategy with a focus on implementing digital learning and performance tools. Drive strategic, cultural and measurable change to improve leadership and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the new Learning and Performance platform for all staff, running system usage sessions and supporting the associated culture change.
- Lead internal apprenticeship schemes, partnering with providers to advertise programmes, advise current learners and advocate apprenticeships as a development route.
- Collaborate with specialist areas to advise, train and deliver sessions on priority subjects.
- Deliver quarterly employee inductions and advocate for BNU’s values.
- Support planning and delivery of the annual Staff Summit, a two-day event promoting lifelong learning.
- Advocate for the Care Leaver Programme, supporting hiring managers and new starters throughout onboarding.
- Partner with external training providers to sustain and grow development programmes.
- Oversee Learning Excellence Programme (LEP) activities.
- Drive mandatory training compliance, monitor completion rates and advise accordingly.
- Carry out any additional duties reasonably required.
