This exciting role is to teach on our BA (Hons) Set Design for Stage and Screen programme. You will also be expected to lead this programme.
Required Skills and Experience- Designing sets for both live performance and film production
- Scale model-making skills
- CAD modelling skills
- Technical drawing skills
- Good knowledge of CAD technical drawing (preferably Vectorworks, Sketchup, Autocad or Rhino)
- Good knowledge of set building construction and prop making techniques
- Good knowledge of safe working practices and risk assessment processes
- Good knowledge of specialist materials and suppliers
- Knowledge of industry professional bodies and organisations

- First degree in a relevant field
- Doctoral level qualification (or working towards) or relevant professional experience in field
- Recognised HE teaching qualification and/or Fellow of the HEA or evidenced commitment to achieving within two years

- Evidence as an active researcher and delivery of high‑quality research and scholarship

- You will be required to deliver a micro‑teach as part of your interview
