A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to work at Buckingham Hospital providing assessment, acute rehabilitation and timely discharge for patients transferred from the acute hospitals., This is a multi skilled post requiring experience in acute medical discharge planning, neurology, amputees, falls and other pathologies.
You will work under the Band 7 Therapists, Band 6 Therapists and Band 3 clinical support workers.
You will work jointly with the patients, physiotherapists, nurses and community teams both on the ward and sometimes the client’s home to enable the clients to be discharged.
We also work at weekends at Stoke Mandeville or Wycombe Hospital.
This post is part of a very friendly, supportive and dynamic Therapy department with integrated individual supervision, appraisal, CPD and in-service training.
