An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, personable, dynamic, and self-motivated individual to join the Patient Access Team as an Outpatients Receptionist.
The role involves welcoming patients to our department, booking outpatient appointments, and handling administrative duties related to follow-up processes.
You will also have the opportunity to work and train in other areas within Patient Access, gaining essential skills and experience to support your ongoing personal development.
- Welcoming patients to our department, checking vital information on patient records, and updating as necessary.
- Following specialty-specific processes regarding patients\β follow-up appointments.
- Being responsible for weekly Oral/Orthodontic clinic preparation, with updates as needed.
- Working collaboratively with the team to complete daily workload.
- Arranging outpatient appointments using the Choose and Book system where applicable, including confirming, cancelling, and rescheduling appointments.
- Communicating effectively with patients about their appointments via email, phone, or letter.
- Arranging transport and translation services when necessary.
