Children’s Nursery Support
About this role: At Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust we have a simple mission – Personal and Compassionate Care Every Time. Volunteers help to enhance the patient experience and complement the work of paid members of staff.
Commitment
3 hours once a week (or more) for a minimum of 6 months
Day: Monday to Friday
Time: Any hours between 9am – 3pm
Key Tasks
- Playing with young children & babies
- Sharing skills with children e.g. musical talent (guitar); cooking; gardening; storytelling; arts & crafts; sports
- Helping at drinks, mealtimes, sleep times
- Helping with tidying, preparing activities (making play-doh, etc.), small tasks (e.g. repairing books, paint pots)
- Making hot drinks for staff

Essential requirement/commitment
- Volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- All Volunteers will require a DBS check.
- Participation in the training relevant to your role and confidential discussion of any reasonable adjustments required to meet your needs.
