A bit about what you will do... The Buckinghamshire offers one of the most beautiful landscapes around, we are now looking for a Qualified Greenkeeper to join our team to support the Golf Course Manager with delivering these high standards.

  • To help maintain our fleet of machinery through safe and correct use of the equipment and prestart checks.
  • Mowing all playing surfaces using both ride on and pedestrian machinery.
  • Carrying out all aspects of bunker maintenance including raking, weeding, levelling, and strimming.
  • Ensuring all our on-course water hazards are always presented well.
  • Blowing to ensure the golf course is tidy.
  • Repairing any wear caused by golfers and pests.
  • Changing holes.
  • Rolling greens.
  • Top dressing.
  • Aeration work.
  • To assist with renovation procedures such as scarifying, overseeding, hand watering, fertilizing playing surfaces when needed.
  • Winter projects.
  • To be courteous to our members and answer any questions they may have while on the course.
  • To identify and notify senior members of staff about any disease or damage.

More about you... NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2 years greenkeeping. PA1, PA2 & PA6 desirable. Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must work in a way that abides to all health and safety legislation. Be able to follow instruction and work well both independently and as part of a team. Good time keeping. Be able to work 1 in 3 weekends all year round.
