Help us to make a difference in Buckinghamshire! Heart of Bucks are looking for an experienced and personable Partnerships Manager to support our fundraising, donor engagement and business development work during a period of maternity cover. The post is 22.5 hours per week, with some hybrid working available.

Contract Type: Fixed Term – Maternity Cover

About us: We are Heart of Bucks, the Community Foundation for Buckinghamshire. Heart of Bucks is a registered charity working with some amazing donors to provide a broad range of funding to other charities and not for profit organisations across Bucks. Our programmes range from those helping to address health inequalities or community safety, through poverty and inclusion projects, sports and leisure, to education, arts and culture programmes, and everything in-between.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will manage relationships with donors and supporters, lead specific fundraising and networking projects, and deliver engaging events. You will also support the development of new partnerships and income opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships and communications with donors, supporters and partners
  • Plan and deliver donor engagement activities and events
  • Lead on specific fundraising, networking and business development projects
  • Support prospect research and development of new leads
  • Act as a key point of contact for external partners
  • Line manage the Partnerships and Impact Officer

About you: You will have experience in fundraising, partnerships, donor engagement, events or a similar role. You'll be highly organised, confident working with a range of stakeholders, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with CRM systems (such as Salesforce), project or event management, and the voluntary or community sector is desirable. Independent travel and occasional out-of-hours working (with time off in lieu) are required.
