About us
Holmer Green First School and Pre-School is situated on Watchet Lane, in Holmer Green village, nestled on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. One of three state schools in the village, the school serves the local community and has a great community feel.
Our Pre-School is run by the school and caters for children aged 2.5 years old to 4 years old. Your time will be spent setting up engaging and exciting play opportunities for our lovely children with the Pre-School teacher, making observations and assessments using Tapestry, delivering small group work sessions and generally interacting, caring for and playing with the children in the setting. You will also be expected to communicate with parents, external professionals and work with staff across the school.

This is a permanent role, to begin on 1st September 2025.The position is term time only, 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.The starting salary is £13.28 per hour.
About you
We are looking for a fabulous individual who holds a Level 3 qualification (equivalent or above) in EYFS. Your qualification must be full and relevant as per DfE guidelines so that you can be included in our ratio numbers.
You must be kind, patient and have a passion for working with young children. We are looking for someone who is creative, organised and has high expectations. You will need lots of energy and positivity to work with our youngest children and be prepared to be flexible, as every day is different!
You will also need to be outgoing and have a good initiative in order to be an integral part of our team.
