Tylers Green First School is a two form entry village infant school in the beautiful village of Penn in Buckinghamshire. We believe that children should be at the heart of the school, and the school at the heart of the village. Our children and staff are happy here, and children achieve well.
We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious teaching assistants to join our friendly team. If you are looking for a new opportunity, exciting challenges, a great team and amazing children to work with then please join us.
Responsibilities include:
- Organise and manage safely the learning activities, the physical environment and the resources for which you are given responsibility
- Communicate effectively and sensitively with pupils to support their learning
- Use changes in voice and intonation to motivate and interest pupils
- Build and maintain successful relationships with children, treat them consistently with respect and consideration and be concerned for their development as learners
- Actively work to uphold the values and policies of the school
About you
We would welcome applications from people with classroom experience, holders of NVQ 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or graduates who are looking to go into teaching eventually.
