What the role involves

  • Supporting pupils in small groups and 1:1: You'll work closely with children who benefit from targeted support, helping them build confidence, develop key skills, and make strong progress.
  • Working under the guidance of the class teacher and/or SENCo: You'll be a valued part of the classroom team, delivering high quality support that aligns with each pupil's learning plan.
  • Providing in class support: When needed, you'll assist within whole class settings to help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Running tailored interventions: You'll deliver structured programmes for specific pupils, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
