Our award winning nurturing school (Ofsted rated Good, last inspection July 2025) is looking for the right person, with the right ethos, to join our happy, forward thinking community. We are seeking to appoint a passionate educator who shares our values of caring, curiosity and courage as well as our commitment to nurturing lifelong learners.
Salary details: BP 1B.6 to 2.15 pro-rata depending on experience and qualifications (£17,400 - £20,200)
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSET days)

We are seeking a committed and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join our small specialist provision supporting approximately eight children from Reception to Year 2. The pupils have a range of additional needs including autism, learning difficulties and social communication challenges. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help create a calm, structured and supportive environment where each child can thrive. You will assist with personalised learning, communication development and social-emotional support, ensuring every child can access the curriculum and make meaningful progress. If you are patient, proactive and passionate about making a difference for children with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
About you
You will have:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) relevant Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification - preferred but not essential
- Experience of working in a School or Early Years setting
- Minimum of English and Maths GCSE
