Pebble Brook School is a community special school that believes everyone can succeed. We want our pupils to be safe and happy in school. We aim to support the development of children (aged 11 - 19) with communication and interaction needs including speech, language and communication needs, autistic spectrum disorder and additional learning difficulties.
Pebble Brook School is looking to recruit an exceptional teacher to support with PSHE lessons and also teachers of all subjects to join our team of dedicated SEND professionals. You will lead, monitor and support the overall progress and development of students, be confident in facilitating and encouraging a learning experience, which provides our students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with other Teachers and Specialists teaching our core curriculum of Maths and English, PE and Art followed with vocational subjects to support students with ASD, ADHD and additional learning difficulties.
You’ll need to be a team player and collaborator, sharing ideas and strategies with colleagues whilst learning from them, and reflecting on each term, seeking improvement through solution focused practice. You will be committed to working to meet the individual needs of our pupils and confident communicating to students and young adults ranging from year 7 to sixth form. Visits to the school are warmly welcome.
