We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Primary Teacher to join our dedicated and vibrant school community. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers currently training towards achieving QTS. As a school with flexibility across year groups, the successful candidate's placement will be determined by their strengths, interests, and experience to start September 2026.
Aston Clinton School is a primary school, teaching children from 4 to 11 years old. We are a very special community, where every child is valued for their own wonderful uniqueness. We work in collaboration with parents, carers and the wider community to ensure that each of those children has the opportunity to flourish socially, academically and emotionally. Our school is proud to offer a wide range of supplementary activities, including residential visits, music, and sports, all of which support a well-rounded and exciting learning experience for our pupils.
As an ECT, you will be fully supported through the Early Career Framework. You will join a highly supportive and collaborative staff team, with access to a strong CPD programme. You will benefit from regular opportunities to discuss your classroom practice with experienced teachers, trainers, and specialist advisors through coaching and structured reflective practice. Your personal mentor — an experienced colleague — will provide day-to-day support, guidance, and feedback. In addition, you will attend regular induction training sessions alongside fellow ECTs.
