Your role involves delivering tailored coaching both on campus and within the local community, empowering learners to achieve their individual goals.
You will design and implement half-termly coaching plans that align with students' EHCP outcomes and life skills targets. You'll collaborate closely with SEND Support colleagues, the Inclusive Practice curriculum team, and external professionals, drawing on your communication and teamwork skills to ensure a holistic, person-centred approach.
You will lead small groups of learners on meaningful community experiences, such as visiting local parks, museums, and social venues, designed to build confidence and independence while working towards EHCP outcomes. Alongside this, you'll coach learners both on campus and offsite in essential life skills, including communication, budgeting, cooking, time management, travel training, and self-advocacy, helping them prepare for adult life.
