We are delighted to launch this exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and forward-thinking College to support our Plumbing & Heating Apprenticeship students\’ journey.
We are looking to recruit three \’Trainer – Apprenticeships in Plumbing & Heating, to support our growing Apprenticeship programme of Plumbing & Heating specialists.
The Trainer – Apprenticeships in Plumbing & Heating will:
- Pass on their up-to-date vocational knowledge and expertise to apprentices in classroom, workshop and site settings, so that apprentices develop the best employability, life and learning skills.
- Promote and discuss additional training, qualifications, and courses with employers to be included in their apprentice\’s training plan to improve their contribution to the workplace.
- Use industry experience to develop and support our apprenticeship students\’ educational journey.
Working 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year the successful candidates will be based across our Aylesbury & Wycombe Campuses and will travel around Buckinghamshire to support our apprenticeship students reach their full potential.

Taking Teaching Further
The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation\’s Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.
As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn \’on the job\’. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
