About the role:
- Support the Housekeeper in delivering housekeeping services to the highest standards at Buckingham Palace and St James’s Palace.
- Oversee the team’s day-to-day activities, planning and prioritising alongside a busy calendar of events.
- Manage rotas, logistics or resources to ensure your team are ready to support the housekeeping services across both locations.
- Play an active role in the delivery of events, providing support with your team to assist the wider hospitality department.
- Support the ongoing personal development of a highly dedicated team, training and guiding those around you to develop their expertise.
- Encourage ideas and adapt to each new situation, being a driving force behind the housekeeping team.
About you:
- Previous housekeeping experience at a supervisory level.
- Relevant Housekeeping qualification, or working towards this.
- Highly efficient and organised, able to balance multiple deadlines and adapt to changing needs.
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping techniques, delivering to the highest standard.
- Strong people management capability, passionate about developing and motivating those around you.
- Confident and professional communicator, able to build strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
- Good IT skills and a flexible approach to manage a varied workload.
