Key Responsibilities
- Investigating tenant complaints and undertaking property inspections
- Assessing housing conditions against HHSRS and the Decent Homes Standard
- Preparing and serving statutory notices and enforcement action where necessary
- Managing disrepair cases and producing detailed schedules of condition
- Supporting HMO licensing, inspections, and compliance activity
- Identifying empty properties and supporting initiatives to bring them back into use
- Working collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies to support housing improvement programmes
