Environmental Protection Officer

Buckingham Futures is recruiting for an Environmental Protection Officer on behalf of our client in South West England.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working three days per week. The role will focus on key areas, including:

1. Statutory nuisance investigations and enforcement
2. IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) work
3. Reviewing and commenting on planning applications from an environmental perspective
4. Handling noise-related cases and assessments
5. Supporting air quality monitoring and improvement initiatives

To be considered, candidates must have at least two years of post-graduate experience in one or more of these relevant sectors.

The role is initially for three months, with a strong likelihood of extension. The rate is negotiable.
