Buckingham Futures are seeking an experienced Environmental Protection / Pollution Control EHO for a full-time short-term contract (3–6 months). The role requires strong reactive investigation and enforcement experience across statutory nuisance and pollution control matters.
Responsibilities:
- Air pollution
- Dust
- Odours
- Noise
- Light nuisance
- Smoke
- Insects
- Air Quality monitoring and regulation
- Planning consultations
- Contaminated Land work
- PPC regulation / EPA 1990 / Permitting
- Vacant industrial/commercial premises
- Waste and fly tipping on commercial/industrial land
- Supporting junior members of the team
- District/site-based inspections and reactive visits
Essential Qualification:
- Strong statutory nuisance investigation and enforcement experience
- Experience with Air Quality, PPC, EPA 1990 and contaminated land
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience dealing with commercial and industrial premises
