Responsibilities
- Conduct unannounced inspections of Category C and D premises.
- Complete risk assessments and produce detailed inspection reports.
- Conduct enforcement revisits and gather admissible evidence where necessary.
- Issue inspection letters within 10 working days.
- Provide advice and guidance to food business operators on compliance matters.
Requirements
- Competence in Inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4).
- Minimum 10 hours Food Core CPD completed.
- EHORB/EHRB registration or equivalent relevant qualifications.
- Experience in Food Hygiene and Food Standards enforcement.
