Key Responsibilities
  • Investigating tenant complaints and undertaking property inspections
  • Assessing housing conditions against HHSRS and the Decent Homes Standard
  • Preparing and serving statutory notices and enforcement action where necessary
  • Managing disrepair cases and producing detailed schedules of condition
  • Supporting HMO licensing, inspections, and compliance activity
  • Identifying empty properties and supporting initiatives to bring them back into use
  • Working collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies to support housing improvement programmes
