Environmental Health - Food Safety Inspections (PI) in City of London

Buckingham Futures has 2 per-inspection projects in South London for Environmental Health Officer / Food Safety Officer roles, starting ASAP until the end of March 2026.

IR35 status

• One project is outside IR35

• One project is inside IR35

Key responsibilities

• Conduct official food hygiene inspections annually (mainly Category C, D, E, and some unrated premises).

• Log inspection data using the client’s mobile tablet/laptop system (training provided).

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Requirements

• Higher Certificate in Food Control, Certificate of Registration, or EHORB/EHRB Diploma.

• Competency in Inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4).

• Minimum 10 hours of Food Core CPD.

• Copies of qualifications, CPD certificates, and EHORB/EHRB registration must be submitted before the contract starts.
