Overview

Buckinghamshire College Group is a Further Education college with three campuses located in Aylesbury, Amersham and Wycombe. Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules which motivate students to achieve.
• Plan and deliver highly effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment, whilst also ensuring students are stretched and challenged to reach their full potential.
• Address the learning needs of students and work creatively to overcome individual barriers to learning, both within and outside of the classroom.
• Deliver a supportive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging the professional development of students, staff and colleagues, and fostering innovative approaches and the use of digital tools to enhance student engagement.

Qualifications

• Industry experience working in carpentry.
• Commitment to the Taking Teaching Further scheme; support for unqualified teachers to learn \’on the job\’ and progress to fully qualified teacher status.
• Enrolment onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training during employment, with the option to progress to the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification.
• Subject to enhanced DBS checks.
