We're seeking new trustees with experience to support a canal restoration and conservation project. Share new ideals on how to promote our charity to the public. Help promote the maintenance and improvement of our canal for the benefit of the public.

As a trustee with digital skills, you can ensure our board can oversee our upcoming website redevelopment and our organisational vision, which we anticipate our trustees will be highly involved with. Make contact with environmental and other wildlife groups and promote funding opportunities for our charity.

What are we looking for?

  • Possible experience of a trustee role with another charity.
  • Experience of working with waterways or wildlife and environmental groups.
  • An interest in working alongside different sorts of volunteers including conservation, construction and our Green Gym volunteers.

What will you be doing?

As a trustee, you'll have an essential role in working with other waterways charities including the Canal and River Trust and other restoration groups. Liaising with local authorities and local councils.
