Overview
£12.50 per hour (basic). Enhanced overtime rate from 40 hours. Pay review in November. Hours of work: minimum 20 hours per week, worked over 3+ days, weekdays and weekends. Applicants must have a good level of flexibility to work additional hours, on an ad-hoc basis, to cover colleagues\' absence and peaks in workload.

Warm and welcoming hospitality is at the heart of what we offer, and we are dedicated to delivering excellence to our visitors. Our dedicated teams provide customers with the highest quality service and value. Working across our onsite accommodation offerings – a 33 bed hotel, 50 bed dormitory style guest house, retreat house and several large holiday home lettings – this postholder will work as a part of a busy team, preparing accommodation to tight turnarounds whilst maintaining the high standards we are known and commended for. We are passionate about not just meeting but exceeding our visitors’ experience and are looking for our next ‘extra mile’ Champion!
If you have:
- Previous housekeeping experience to high standards and with high levels of guest interaction
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude and permanent smile!
- A professional, discreet and confidential approach and personal values that align to our company values
- High standards of personal presentation and cleanliness, and commitment to the team including punctuality and reliability
- The ability to follow instructions, schedules and processes, use appropriate initiative and communicate effectively
- The ability to work independently, managing time and multi-tasking
- Flexibility for additional, ad-hoc hours to cover colleagues’ absence and peaks in workload (essential)
- Suitable physical ability and stamina, specifically in relation to deep cleaning duties and preparation of guest accommodation to tight deadlines and turnaround times without compromising standards
- Health and Safety (including COSHH), fire, security, food hygiene and safeguarding awareness with willingness to undertake all training required
