Warm and welcoming hospitality is at the heart of what we offer, and we are dedicated to delivering excellence to our visitors. We are very proud of our fabulous hospitality venues – Grange Restaurant, Abbot’s Way Café, Northgate House Hotel and San Benedetto’s Restaurant, and a busy Conference Centre.
This postholder will normally work front‑of‑house in our Grange Restaurant and Abbot’s Way Café but could be required to work at any of our venues, depending on business need.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Highly flexible approach to work, with the ability, willingness and (previous experience essential) to serve beverages, wait tables, perform simple food preparation, process payments through the till, clean, and assist in the kitchen.
- Availability required – Saturdays and Sundays.
- Polite, positive, ‘can do’ attitude and permanent smile.
- Team player – punctual, reliable, quick to learn, and able to follow instructions, schedules and processes with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable and confident with front‑of‑house duties and high personal presentation and hygiene standards.
- Highly self‑motivated, able to see what needs to be done and take ownership of completing tasks.
- Fast and efficient work without compromising standards.
- Energy and stamina to keep moving and busy all shift.
- Health, safety, environmental and safeguarding awareness and focus.
- Personal values that align with company values.
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate desirable, can be completed after hire.
