We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading global financial institution, for a Subsidiary Banker to join their Japanese Corporate Banking team in London. This front-office role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic portfolio of corporate clients across the UK and EMEA, supporting senior Relationship Managers and contributing to business development initiatives.
About the Role: As Junior Subsidiary Banker, you will play a key role in managing relationships with corporate subsidiaries, assisting in credit analysis, and delivering tailored financial solutions. You will work closely with international teams, gaining valuable experience in cross-border corporate banking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of corporate clients, including subsidiaries of multinational companies.
- Assist with credit assessments, business origination, and client strategy development.
- Collaborate with product specialists to deliver bespoke financial solutions.
- Monitor and manage market, credit, operational, and compliance risks.
- Prepare high-quality credit assessments, reports, and portfolio monitoring documentation.
- Contribute insights to strategic planning across international teams.
Candidate Profile:
- Front-office experience in corporate banking, ideally with exposure to subsidiaries or corporate groups.
- Experience in credit assessment and financial analysis for medium to large corporates.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment.

- Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
