Personal Assistant to Managing Director (financial services)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading financial services organisation, for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to their Managing Director. This role also involves assisting the wider team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks, making it ideal for a proactive and organised PA who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Managing Director’s diary, including scheduling meetings, appointments and travel.
- Co‑ordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the MD.
- Prepare materials for meetings, presentations and reports.
- Support the wider team with ad‑hoc administrative duties such as document management, expense reporting and general office co‑ordination.
- Prioritise and manage competing demands to ensure smooth operations for the MD and team.
- Act as a professional liaison with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, supporting senior executives within banking or financial services.
- Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Professional, proactive, adaptable and detail‑oriented.
- Previous experience in financial services or a corporate environment is highly desirable.
