About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead and deliver the end-to-end marketing strategy across a fast-growing residential property group, including Build to Rent (BTR) and single-family rental portfolios. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for brand, performance marketing, PR, B2C and B2B strategy, investor communications and resident experience. The successful candidate will act as a brand guardian across multiple portfolios while driving measurable commercial impact on occupancy, revenue growth and long-term brand equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the group-wide marketing strategy across BTR and other residential models
- Lead, develop and performance-manage the marketing team
- Set and manage portfolio, development and corporate marketing budgets
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency across portfolios, schemes and channels
Brand Growth & Resident Experience
- Lead the continued growth of the group’s consumer-facing BTR brand across all touchpoints
- Oversee customer and resident communications, optimising the end-to-end journey
- Drive resident engagement through on-site events, initiatives and digital campaigns
- Ensure strong brand visibility across digital, social, content, portals and OOH
- Deliver marketing strategies, campaign plans and experience initiatives for each portfolio
- Support new scheme launches with best-in-class mobilisation and lease-up strategies
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance across all channels
- Work closely with leasing, mobilisation and operations teams to ensure aligned execution
PR, B2B & Industry Presence
- Lead PR strategy with external agencies, including media coverage, awards and reputation management
- Own B2B marketing strategy, planning and performance tracking
- Oversee industry events, panels and speaking opportunities
- Support business development, investor communications and new business pitches
Stakeholder & Investor Engagement
- Present marketing performance and insights to the board and senior stakeholders
- Support investor-facing communications and tender submissions
- Manage external creative, PR and digital agencies to a high standard
About You
- Proven senior marketing leader with multi-channel expertise, ideally within property, BTR or a related sector
- Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially focused, with experience linking marketing activity to growth, occupancy and revenue
- Confident operating across both B2C and B2B marketing environments
- Data-driven, with strong reporting and performance optimisation capability
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
Qualifications
- Degree-educated or equivalent professional experience
