An exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Finance professional looking to grow their portfolio, drive origination and build lasting client relationships.
I’m working with a well-established bank looking to appoint an Associate Director into its Real Estate Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual to play a key role in originating new business, developing relationships across residential and commercial real estate market and delivering tailored funding solutions to clients.
The role:
- Originate new business through established broker networks, existing clients and your own introducer relationships.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted relationship partner.
- Structure, negotiate and execute real estate finance transactions from initial opportunity through to completion.
- Assess new lending opportunities, prepare credit proposals and present transactions to Credit Committee.
- Build and strengthen relationships with brokers, intermediaries and other key market contacts.
- Work closely with internal teams across Credit, Legal, Operations and Compliance to deliver effective funding solutions.
- Support the wider team in achieving its strategic growth and profitability objectives.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience within Real Estate Finance, ideally across origination and relationship management.
- A strong understanding of the property lending market and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building, networking and negotiation skills.
- Experience assessing lending opportunities, structuring transactions and preparing credit papers.
- A commercial, proactive and entrepreneurial approach, with the drive to grow a sustainable lending portfolio.
A proven track record of originating new business would be advantageous, although candidates with strong market relationships and a clear understanding of how to generate new opportunities are also encouraged to apply.
