Buckden Partners has been mandated by our specialist Bank lender who is now looking for a new Lending Administrator. The vacancy is for a Lending Assistant to work within a small team reporting to the Team Lending Director. The core business is providing senior debt finance to property developers and investors, which you will assist throughout the finance process.
Key Responsibilities
- Inputting data and transactions into the main lending system, ensuring account data is organised, accurate and up to date.
- Input and maintain customer account records in order that the integrity of the Bank's accounting records and data is maintained, liaising with internal departments as appropriate.
- Prepare Facility Letters and other contractual documentation in line with Credit Committee approval, ensuring appropriate conditions are documented.
- Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
- Instruct the Bank's professional advisors (solicitors, valuers and monitoring surveyors) and thereafter ensure that their reports address all of the relevant issues (as set out in the formal instructions) and are generally of a quality which meets the Bank's desired standards.
- Attend internal / external meetings with the Senior Portfolio and Business Development Manager(s).
