We’re hiring a Data Management Lead to join a growing international financial services business operating at the intersection of Supply Chain Finance, Payments, and Trade Solutions. This is not a traditional “keep the lights on” data role. We’re looking for someone who can combine strong operational discipline with creativity, curiosity, and the ability to challenge how things are done. Someone who sees data not just as a control function, but as a strategic asset that can unlock automation, insight, efficiency, and better client outcomes.

You’ll lead the evolution of a critical data management function supporting global trade finance and settlement operations across multinational clients and supply chains. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll help shape data strategy, improve governance and controls, drive migration and transformation initiatives, and build scalable analytics capabilities. The role requires someone comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where innovation and continuous improvement are genuinely encouraged.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Developing and embedding data management strategy and governance
  • Leading data migration and ETL initiatives with strong auditability and control
  • Improving data quality, structure, accessibility, and reporting automation
  • Supporting analytics and insight generation for operational and strategic decision-making
  • Driving process optimisation, efficiency, and operational resilience
  • Partnering across global and multicultural teams to influence change and delivery

We’re particularly interested in individuals with experience in:

  • Supply Chain Finance
  • Payments / Cash Management
  • Financial Services Operations
  • Trade Finance or Treasury environments

You’ll likely bring:

  • Experience leading or influencing data transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution
  • Exposure to tools such as SQL, Power BI/Tableau, ERP or treasury platforms
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge existing processes constructively

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious organisation at a pivotal stage of growth, where the right person will have genuine visibility, influence, and the ability to shape how data supports the future of the business. If you’re interested in learning more, please get in touch directly.

Comp is circa £70,000 - £80,000 + bonus
