My client is an established boutique lender who provides residential development along with residential and commercial investment loans up to £100m. The role reports into the Head of Credit and is focused primarily on property investment lending credit risk.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing the due diligence of loan packs
- Writing the credit paper; approving the loan before presenting the written credit paper to the credit committee
- Management of the loan approval process
- Proceed to close the loan, identifying risks
- Post drawdown responsibilities include managing any conditions subsequent; input of transaction information into the company's systems; monitoring post completion covenants; impairment reviews; general transaction management and quarterly reporting; managing amendments to loan terms
