Job Description
Position: Credit Manager / Credit Director – Commercial Real Estate
Contract: 6 months (immediate start required)
Location: London
Client: Dynamic UK-based Debt Fund
Role Purpose / Summary
The Credit Manager / Credit Director will support the debt fund’s team on a six-month contract, focusing on credit risk assessment and structuring real estate transactions. The role will require direct engagement with clients and counterparties, ensuring thorough due diligence and compliance with lending regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and review corporate structures and associated lender security requirements.
- Review blocked/locked bank accounts and mechanisms to control rental income.
- Conduct underwriting and due diligence on commercial real estate (CRE) deals.
- Liaise with internal teams to support credit decision-making and deal structuring.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong underwriting and due diligence experience within CRE deals.
- Proven experience in assessing security packages and structured lending.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Immediate availability to start the assignment.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in debt funds, banking, or structured real estate finance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
