Corporate Banking Director - Deposits (London)

Our client, a thriving corporate bank, is looking for a dynamic Corporate Banking Director of Deposits to join their expanding team. If you're passionate about business development, team leadership, and building deposit-led corporate portfolios, this could be your next big opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage a high-performing team of 10 relationship managers and support staff.
• Proactively grow and oversee a portfolio of corporate clients with a focus on deposits.
• Drive new business development and act as a brand ambassador for the Bank in the market.
• Build strong relationships with external partners and internal teams including Treasury, Customer Propositions, and Financial Crime Risk & Controls.
• Identify and mitigate operational and financial crime risks.
• Promote tailored banking solutions that meet corporate client needs and support revenue growth.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and motivating teams to achieve commercial success.
• A strong background in originating and managing corporate deposit relationships.
• Solid understanding of AML, financial crime frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence at senior levels.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate banking, client structures, and portfolio strategies.
• Strong decision-making capabilities backed by commercial insight and strategic thinking.
