Assistant Relationship Manager – Invoice Finance & ABL

An established specialist lending platform is looking to appoint an Assistant Relationship Manager to join its growing Invoice Finance & Asset Based Lending team.

This is a great opportunity for a Client Executive, Client Manager or Assistant Relationship Manager looking to take the next step, with genuine ownership of a portfolio and exposure across client relationships, portfolio management and risk.

You’ll manage a portfolio of IF & ABL clients, building strong relationships while ensuring accounts are well managed, commercially focused and within risk appetite.

The Role

• Manage day-to-day client relationships, queries and requests.
• Take ownership of invoice finance and ABL portfolio activity.
• Manage borrowing bases, reconciliations, reserves and payment requests.
• Monitor accounts, covenants, audits and valuations.
• Attend client meetings and visits, building trusted relationships.
• Manage variations, amendments and portfolio administration.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional lending solutions.
• Support wider projects across the IF & ABL business.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Invoice Finance, ABL or a related lending environment.
• Strong understanding of invoice finance, credit and risk.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Strong Excel and financial data skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and detail-focused.
• Comfortable managing a portfolio with a good degree of independence.
