Associate Director – Corporate Finance Headhunter
Our client, a leading global banking group, is seeking a talented Acquisition Finance Credit Analyst to join their London team. This is a unique opportunity for candidates with experience in lending, consulting, or accounting to build a career in leveraged and acquisition finance while working on large‑cap deals across Europe.
The Analyst will work closely with senior managers responsible for executing leveraged loan and acquisition finance transactions, as well as managing a portfolio. This role offers hands‑on exposure to portfolio credit risk management and the assessment of high‑value lending opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse management accounts, audited financial statements, covenant compliance certificates, and budgets for the Acquisition Finance portfolio.
- Assist in preparing credit applications for new leveraged and acquisition finance transactions.
- Prepare annual portfolio reviews and quarterly Acquisition Finance Portfolio Reports.
- Support waiver and amendment requests and contribute to monthly reporting.
- Maintain portfolio information databases and support strategic initiatives to expand acquisition finance activities.
Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in a bank, fund, or similar institution with credit analysis and financial modelling of leveraged loans.
- Expertise in Acquisition Finance and Leveraged Finance evaluation.
- Strong cash flow modelling, sensitivity analysis, and financial feasibility assessment skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
