This is why BUCK is looking for talented and driven people to join teams across our many departments as an Apprentice. As a 3D Apprentice, you’ll be able to work alongside collaborative teams under some of the most talented artists in the world to build knowledge, skills and responsibility to further your career.
The 3D department is a team of highly creative and technical artists working in a collaborative environment. We value the importance of in-person collaboration as a cornerstone of building positive culture, fostering growth, and driving success for individuals, the department, and BUCK as a whole. In 2026, the guidance for in-office work is 2–3 days per week, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.
Expectations
- Six month, full time commitment

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A distinct creative perspective, with a developing sense of style, taste, and visual thinking
- Curious and forward-thinking, with a genuine interest in exploring new tools, technologies, and ways of working within 3D
Experience
We welcome recent graduates, self-taught artists and anyone in between. The ideal candidate will have some experience, but more importantly, we’re looking for someone who is curious and eager to learn. You should display a keen interest in exploring and adapting to new tools and techniques to stay current with industry trends and evolving project requirements.
Software Knowledge
Sufficiently familiar with one of the following: Maya, C4D, Blender, Houdini or Nuke. Comfy UI and other programs are an additional plus!
BUCK Offers
A six month period of working on amazing projects with very talented and kind people. Be paired up with a mentor for the duration of the program. The mentor will be an active staff member who will support your education and experience at BUCK.
Requirements
You must be able to work in the Netherlands at our Amsterdam BUCK office, or in the United Kingdom at our London BUCK office.
