What the job involves

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that all the company’s inventory records are timely and accurately recorded.
  • Executing warehouse activities relating to goods receipt, goods put away, order picking, packing and shipping.
  • Responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure that the area of goods in and warehouse locations are kept clean, safe and tidy.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous supervisory or deputy background.
  • Previous background working in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Background in receipt, dispatch and warehouse related administration.
  • Background in use of automated stores systems.
  • Working to high levels of health and safety standards.
  • Computer literate - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet and ability to effectively utilise in-house databases/WHS systems/ERP.
  • Proven ability to identify, implement and maintain Continuous Improvement activities targeting \'Waste\' as defined by Lean/Six Sigma methodology following BPS (Bucher Production System).

Desirable Attributes

  • The ability of working with automotive parts aftersales.
  • Previous background of SAP MM/IM.
  • Forklift truck licence - Counterbalance or Reach (or ability & willing to train).
