What the job involves
- You will be responsible for ensuring that all the company’s inventory records are timely and accurately recorded.
- Executing warehouse activities relating to goods receipt, goods put away, order picking, packing and shipping.
- Responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure that the area of goods in and warehouse locations are kept clean, safe and tidy.
Essential Criteria
- Previous supervisory or deputy background.
- Previous background working in a busy warehouse environment.
- Background in receipt, dispatch and warehouse related administration.
- Background in use of automated stores systems.
- Working to high levels of health and safety standards.
- Computer literate - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet and ability to effectively utilise in-house databases/WHS systems/ERP.
- Proven ability to identify, implement and maintain Continuous Improvement activities targeting \'Waste\' as defined by Lean/Six Sigma methodology following BPS (Bucher Production System).
Desirable Attributes
- The ability of working with automotive parts aftersales.
- Previous background of SAP MM/IM.
- Forklift truck licence - Counterbalance or Reach (or ability & willing to train).
