The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 € per year.

Scotland's confectionery brand leader requires an experienced Mechanical Engineer for Monday to Thursday dayshift, hands-on factory floor maintenance work.

Our wish list for the successful candidate would be as follows:

  • Qualified to HNC/HND level or equivalent within a relevant Mechanical discipline or possessing equivalent experience to be able to diagnose faults, repair and fine-tune mechanical equipment.
  • Experience of working within a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified to 17th Edition IET Electrical Regulations.
  • Relevant experience with steam boilers, compressors, pumps, valves, conveyors, weighing equipment.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving equipment process improvements within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on engineer with a "can-do" attitude and a desire to understand and improve the manufacturing process.
